ViSalus Launches in the United Kingdom

ViSalus, a company that helps nearly 150,000 people per month in North America transform their health and fitness through the Body by Vi 90-Day Challenge, has recently expanded into the United Kingdom.  The company will be setting up shop in Guilford, where they hope to bring the success of their 90-Day Challenge across the pond.

At more than two million people strong, The Challenge is North America’s number one platform for weight loss and fitness results and sees the UK as the next logical place to continue taking weight off the world.  A community of passionate Promoters earn spare-time, part-time, or even full-time income by helping people take on The Challenge and achieve transformative results

Considering the United Kingdom has the third highest percentage of obesity worldwide and one in four adults in England is obese, it is clear that action needs to be taken. If current trends continue, the proportion of overweight people in England is projected to increase by 10% over the next decade.

Vi has appointed Ros Simmons as Managing Director of Vi (UK) to lead the expansion into this new market. Simmons will be responsible for all aspects of the market, including field sales support, training, events and operations.  Prior to joining Vi, Simmons was Vice President of Global Brands at The Licensing Company, where she was responsible for creating strategies and implementing worldwide brand extension and licensing programs for Coca-Cola, Hearst Corp and Reckitt Benckiser.
